CAT & DOG URINE STAINS
Scrub area with fine steel-wool pad or sand it.
Apply Minwax Wood Stain in matching finishing color.
Professionals sand away old finish on stains with 60-grit sandpaper, then bleach with solution of oxalic acid crystals (from pharmacist). Dissolve crystals in warm water to point of saturation. Let stand overnight in glass jar. Warm mixture again, apply on stains with brush. Let dry. Remove residue that remains with a solution of 50 percent white vinegar. Lightly hand-sand with 100 grit sandpaper and reapply finish the same color as floor.
Dog urine odor on wool rug......Use Abolish, found in the air-freshener section.
